With high amino acid level, Gyokuro has richer taste; lesser tannin makes it taste more refined and a bit milder.

Monday, October 26th, 2009

An acne diet is certainly an appealing idea. We’ve all heard that chocolate gives you pimples. Just about everyone has. As a result, it doesn’t really sound that strange that you are what you eat.

However, an acne diet can be hard to create for a large number of people. It is highly personal and based on your body’s unique responses to food. There are guidelines, but each individual’s progress will mostly be trial and error. Check your skin thoroughly every day. Make note of any changes. You might even want to take pictures using a digital camera once or twice a week. When your skin clears, continue on the diet you were on at the time.

Here are some simple rules to get you started on an acne diet:

* You need to increase your protein - Many dermatologists are under the belief that protein is connected with clearer skin. An enzyme in contained in protein limits the creation of oil Oily skin is very vulnerable to breakouts.

* Keep away from carbohydrates - Its not necessary to cut out all carbohydrates. But you should try to limit your intake so that they are about 40 percent of your diet. This is because carbohydrates can stimulate oil production. This is the reason that junk food has the reputation that it causes acne. Actually, though, junk food is just high in carbs.

* Consume green tea - If possible, drink the real stuff. The kind of green tea that you brew is the best kind. However, if you really don’t like it, then try the natural green tea drinks. Green tea will limit the creation of androgen. Androgen is a hormone that will cause your skin to breakout.

* 4. Limit your salt intake - Salt most always contains iodine. This is why table salt is usually called “iodized salt.” Of course for some people with acne, iodine can cause big breakouts.

It is very important to watch what you eat and put on your face. If you have acne you are already aware of what ingredients are in your facial products. You should only use moisturizers without oil and natural and organic skin care products. These being the least likely to aggravate your skin. What people aren’t aware of is that what makes green tea excellent for you body also makes it perfect for your skin.

Green tea contains a lot of antioxidants. When consumed in liquid form, the antioxidants quickly absorb into your body and do advantageous things, like improve your immune system. But, when you put it on your face, these anti-oxidants will start working right away to defend your exterior as well.

Your skin will love anti oxidants. They keep free radicals away from you. Free radicals will attack your skin and cause wrinkles. Occasionally, these free radicals have been known to damage skin so much that the cells will actually become cancerous.

However, green tea skin care does more than that. Green tea extracts serve to revitalize your skin. They ease inflammation and smooth out discolorations caused by the environment or using the wrong skin care products. You should add a green tea product to your natural skincare regimen. It doesn’t matter what it is, lotions or creams, serums or spritzers, you will be very happy that you added green tea to your skincare regimen.
